Project Updates

Hi 2E4!

Now that you have set up your group blog, please be aware that I would be taking it as your CA3 assignment. Fret not, I do not expect you to give me an extremely fancy blog but please ensure that you have a working blog URL.

Please ensure that you have all the necessary posts.
1. Set up your sidebar properly- individual photos of your group members, their names and role
2. FIVE scenarios that you would want to work on
3. Choose ONE scenario and give THREE reasons why
4. Upload your draft (script)
5. Post your amended and COMPLETED script
6. 'Behind-the-scenes' photos (Bloopers, NGs)

Deadline: 1 May 2013

Do remember to post your completed video by 7 May 2013!

Have fun! And all the best for the MYE.

Cheers:)

Characters in a Play

“The only characters I ever don't like are ones that leave no impression on me. And I don't write characters that leave no impression on me.”
― Lauren DeStefano

Start blogging on the go. With Blogger for Android you can:
  • Compose a post that you can save to draft or immediately publish
  • View list of your saved and published posts
  • Switch account/blog if you have more than one
  • Embed an image from the gallery, or, by taking a picture directly from the app

2. Magisto
Shoot and upload your videos and Magisto automatically turns them into beautifully edited movies, complete with music and effects, in minutes.

Filming a Video Project

Hi 2E4!

I came across an interesting article on 'How to Act' and thought these tips may come in handy for the project. Before you start filming, do consider these points below:

1. Voice Projection
Talk louder than you usually would so everyone can hear you. The camera must be able to capture the sound. Do not speak too fast as this often garbles your words. It would be difficult to hear what you are saying.

2. Enunciate
Ensure that you pronounce every word clearly. Speak slowly and make sure that all consonants are present. However, do not overdo your enunciation as you may end up sounding unnatural.

3. Emote
Portray the emotions that are expected of the character. Use gestures and body language to convey emotions. If your character is angry, wave your hands and stomp your feet. If the character is sad, hunch your shoulders and hang your head.
